Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how visitors use the site. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage, which work in much the same way.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to operate pawlogictech.com, remember your preferences, measure site performance, and — only with your consent — for marketing purposes. You can control non-essential cookies through our consent banner and your browser settings, as described below.
Types of cookies we use
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | wordpress_*, wp-settings-*, consent preference cookie |
Required for the site to function: security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choices, and keeping you signed in to your account. | Session to 1 year |
| Preferences | pl_locale |
Remember settings you choose, such as language or region. | Up to 1 year |
| Analytics | Privacy-friendly analytics cookies (first-party where possible) | Help us understand which pages are visited and how the site performs, using aggregated data. Only set with your consent. | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Advertising platform cookies | Used to measure campaign effectiveness and show relevant ads. Only set with your consent. | Up to 13 months |
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the site will not work properly without them. All other categories require your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time via the cookie settings link in the site footer.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties whose content or services appear on our site — for example, embedded videos, payment providers at checkout, or analytics tools. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, and we encourage you to review them. We do not control these cookies beyond choosing reputable providers and limiting data sharing.
Managing cookies
- Consent banner. When you first visit our site, a banner lets you accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies. You can change your choices anytime via the cookie settings link in the footer.
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings (usually under Privacy or Security). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site, such as sign-in and checkout.
- Mobile app. The PawLogic app uses local storage rather than browser cookies; you can manage app permissions (location, camera, notifications) in your device settings.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no agreed standard for responding to it, we do not currently alter our practices when we receive such a signal; instead, we rely on the consent choices described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal and operational reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
